England to beat Portugal next week no problem.

Definitely, because Portugal needs Costinha and Deco!

However, football is as unpredictable as ever. (Last year- Italy losing to South Korea, Senegal whipping the French, French not scoring a single goal, Ghana beating the Czechs)

The only winner is England, they will find a Portuguese team without two players and probably Cristiano Ronaldo.

Did anyone notice the friendly football argumentation of sent-offs Deco and Van Bronckhoorst? Surely one the best moments of the match...LOL

The problem with the game with England is I'm not sure we will have 11 players to play with... If we do have, England will be a stroll in the fields after this Siege of Nuremberg....

Congratulations to all Portugal fans (especially Roger Silva) and I would like to apologize for our foolish behaviour on the pitch (what a karate kick by Boularouz and then an elbow, this man is a lunatic) , what a disgrace Angry ! It's over for Holland, I don't mind because there are so many better teams!

Trust me, you're not to blame, the game would have ben completly different if it wasn't for this stupid bloke called COSTINHA. And that Ivanov dude as well...

Holland played a great game, pounding us with what they had, we just tried to resist as heroicly as we could...

I just caught the last 30 minutes of the Portuguesa v. Nederland match.  What on earth was that all about?!

As for England... well, I actually feel asleep during the first half.  Seriously!  I woke up and found the television turned off!  Put it back on and it was still first half.  Dull as dishwater.

Second half... I fell asleep again, but woke up just around the time the goal was scored.

From what I did see of the game... well, we played badly.  We don't deserve to win games playing like that.  Terrible!

The next match versus Portugal will be very interesting indeed.

Ronaldo maybe back, we shall see!

Unlucky, yes, fairier, not a chance. Both teams descended to their lowest form of playing on the pitch tonight. In the end the portuguese were just slightly better organized.

In my opinion, Van Basten was really stupid not to start Van Nistelrooy. Even though he had not performed well as of late, its like putting someone out there for Zinedine Zidane.

Anyways, the Dutch were pretty much screwed from the beginning without Clarence Seedorf, Roy Makaay, Patrick Kluivert and Edgar Davids.

In my opinion, he should get the axe.

Marco Van Basten was supported by Johan Cruijff, Wim Van Hanegem and the press, he pretended to have a vision, he made some very controversial decisions about the final selection and line-ups during the World Cup but this evening  .... Holland was send home, in my opinion (as a Dutchman), totally deserved because we needed too many fouls and we were simply not able to make advantage first 11 against 10 and then 10 against 9 .... it's over and now I am going to support Portugal (my best friend is half-Portuguese) and Argentina (Messi!), I am looking forward to games like Germany-Argentina, Portugal-England and Brasil-Ghana Approve ! Cheers .. Rochefort 10 is my cold comfort .. Wink !
