Did you know that Frances the Mute is the only TMV album to be RIAA certified Gold? I think that's weird, why wouldn't Deloused have better sales? It's at least 50% more listenable. And Foxtrot doesn't have anything! While Invisible Touch is 6x Platinum. *palmface*

The Genesis thing doesn't surprise me, but the TMV one certainly does. Frances is much less accessible, and De-Loused is generally their most popular.

Maybe all the nerdy prog fans bought FTM while the indie fans just listened to Deloused.

The Bejeweled gods must have just been kind to me for that high score of 319,000, I'm going to give up now.

Noooo, who's going to hawk juicers at 4am?

I think FTM could've been a stronger album than Deloused if they hadn't had so much ambiance.

Or if TMV remembered how to write songs, something they forget more and more with every new album.

That too. I haven't listend to TMV in ages, come to think of it.

What, Bedlam and Octohedron are nothing but songs.

You didn't even get the numbers right and missed so many other possible songs because you are too lazy to spend more than five minutes on a comic and that's not even a joke, go to hell.

I guess Octohedron was kind of a return to songwriting, albeit bad songwriting I don't like, with lyrics I hate, and a band I got tired of in 2005. I would probably put on De-Loused, but it's kinda X-Files time now.

You don't have to like it, and I admit I don't care about the concept of a song, but I don't see how Bedlam is anything but songs.

I was in the den and I put on Ire Works but I guess my headphones weren't all the way in so it came out through the laptop speakers, everyone heard a few seconds of Greg Puciato screaming and gave me a weird look, oops.

I thought my math teacher didn't go over the second chapter of homework assignments given to us on Friday, but I guess he actually went over the whole chapter in the last 5 minutes of class, I was just so zoned out I didn't even notice.  F*ck, now I'll be two chapters behind tomorrow.

Also, I has a sad.

Used to happen to me all the time when I'd play something too loudly, but since I basically stopped using headphones, it's now constant. People can deal with it.

It's been so long and I hated it when it came out. Not going to listen to it again to substantiate my claims so f**k it. Mars Volta should have quit after De-Loused so I could just call the rest of them all Omar's sh*tty solo records and not have to answer the question, "Do you like The Mars Volta with, "Well their first album was excellent, but..."

Matt, you might like Ire Works.  It's got strong electronic and glitch infused throughout.

Interestingly, there's very little mathcore on this song.
