my region of the country is barely affected anyways, though I'm planning on moving to Antwerp this summer where the situation is currently a lot worse...

Antwerp is a place.

yes it's in the magical wonderland of Belgium, aka bizarro Netherlands, where French words are pronounced the Dutch way and Dutch words are pronounced the French way, the infrastructure is more on par with that of Romania yet the tuition fees are half of ours and German is an official language because they accidentally forgot to give about two square miles of land back to Germany when they were formed

all germany does is take, so really can you blame them?

also, petition the government to change the official name of the country to bizarro netherlands.

It seems I may have thrown away too many appropriately sized empty cardboard boxes. :'(

Flemmish art waz once the bedrock of european art, in the way of using complex imagery and ahead of their time details Hieranimus Borsch was a master of complex details

Jacques Backereel stumbled upon a time machine and became Bob Ross.

I've loved enough in a non erotic way that I can only now love in an unabashedly erotic way.

I'm quite sure Hieronymus Bosch was from the south of current day Netherlands, though from a time when there was neither Netherlands nor Flanders
and Pieter Brueghel would be a case of an artist that was located in current day Belgium but which at the time was the Netherlands
I would say the NL had the better painters though Belgium has better music, cinema and maybe also comedy/entertainment

I might be horrendously wrong, but to my recollection the historical flemmish art includes both Belgium and Netherlands. thw flemmish scene, when i was introduced to that concept i started to speculate if there were any comnection or a culutural thing that would lead to both the flemmish art scene and the Franco-Belgian comic tradtion, even of there is a 300 year gap between them. What is/was the state of dutch comics when the franco-belgian comic scene were at its most active periode?

I really don't need more evidence of this fact, but all I do is procure more of it. Ouch
