Well, I don't know about that.  You see, upon listening to Henry Cow today (and LOVING jazz music and playing it for years), I found a connection.  I still don't get the "Rock in Opposition" label, but I don't really care about it.  It's good music.  That's what I want.

All RIO bands do sound different though and it's more of an organizational aspect than a straight-up musical one.

Sounds like a plan! Henry Cow albums are growers too. Most albums do get better with every listen, but HC reveals itself that way especially so. It's amazing.

I remember Icarus II being good... but to be honest, I haven't heard that album in way too long. I might actually bring that out tomorrow.

I attended the first tour when Kansas played that song.  They had sold out of the CDs, as I recall, but man..."Icarus II" blew me away.

I like that we can get into each others' prog!
