On a completely different tack, just found out we've got tickets for the RSC's production of Hamlet in London this December :

David Tennant looking suitably barking...

I love the last paragraph of the precis on the RSC's website:

"Claudius plots with Laertes to kill Hamlet in a fencing match in which Laertes will have a poisoned sword. The plot miscarries and Laertes dies. Gertrude drinks from a poisoned cup intended for Hamlet and also dies. Hamlet, wounded by the poisoned sword, kills Claudius before he, too, dies."

I love a good comedy!

I know - I couldn't believe we got tickets for £40 each

Not to rub it in, but I love this shot, too:

David Tennant & Patrick Stewart (there has to be a Jean Luc Picard/Dr Who joke here somewhere...)

yes, I believe that Shakespeare drew inspiration for Hamlet's final scene (bodies strewn liberally across the palace floor...) from the conclusion to a then little known medieval tragedy.. Blackadder ...Wink

Fair enough, Peter, I'm only doing it for fun anyway.

But just one thing, I can already drink legally, so I really don't care about Britain, Canada and the US laws regarding that - combined! Wink

In fact, I'm two hours from going to a local jazz festival, and I'm not decided what beer to take with my buddies. Smile

Oh, and I'm not 19 yet. LOL

Oh#2: regarding the grey, I remember my uncle saying I have an old spirit: I've avoided the fun of teenagers, I contemplate so much I probably grow an alter-ego out of me who contemplates on how I contemplate, never done things to feel an "adrenaline", had some nasty death wishes...anyway, I liked my uncle's idea, whether or not it's true
