but anyways it's another cleaning/removals-type job, preparing homes for new renters, removing big trash from appartment buildings, driving around etc.
yesterday I cleaned out the house where a man's corpse had just been removed after lying there for about two months without being found, we had to strip it completely for new inhabitants, we had masks with filters and all; today was more regular cleaning
that's gonna be my job till the end of the summer

interesting job, with both ina humanitarian and in a morbid sort of way. in many cases it builds character and also makes one reflect.

Corps is used here as well, but we don't pronounce the 'p' at the end.

I actually did something like this when I was around 13 (1971). Some buddies and I cleaned out townhouses at the end of the university year for the landlord. Unbelievably filthy. Of course we didn't have any PPE or anything, we just happily inhaled the swept dust and spores. On the positive side we got some cool stuff that the students had left behind.

yes though I'm not really feeling the humanitarian angle; we tossed most of his heavier stuff off the balcony so we wouldn't have to carry it down the stairs and then just dumped everything on a trash heap, not exactly in honor of his life

did you have a labour contract for that?
unfortunately we aren't allowed to keep any cool stuff I believe, though the most valuable stuff does get left at the main office for some purpose I don't know yet
