AD is the Christian rock band Kerry Livgren and Dave Hope formed after Kansas (temporarily) disbanded in the early 1980s.

The album is called Art of the State.

Wavering Radiant is really good but I still think it's their weakest studio album (not counting Celestial, which is barely post metal at all).  If you liked that I'd highly recommend getting Oceanic or Panopticon next.
