well yeah, I mean Dedicated has pieces that are as boring as anything on You Are There next to pieces that are much better imo

Perhaps I was just clouded with the emotion of his recently passing.  And negative. Please do.

ah well I've been loving Howard Riley Trio's first three albums, some really fine prog-related jazz that sometimes edges on a kind of deconstruction of ragtime piano jazz, I'm sure you'll like 'em (though the production on the first one is a bit flimsy so don't start with that)
