I couldn't seriously choose there either.

Tom Sawyer > War

Hmm... nah, they're too different. I can't say there.

I love Rush and Henry Cow in completely different ways and for different reasons, so I hardly ever bother comparing.

Magma is better than all of those except Henry Cow.

Nah, Rush pwn them all.

Rush pwn Henry Cow?

Seriously though, it's all about Widemann and Gauthier.

They make this performance amazing.

I'm not sure which one does the majority of the keyboard work, mind you.

Yes they do.

The vocals are really top-notch as well.

But a lot of gay guys do love Queen... don't deny it, June.  I said it because it's true.

It cannot be argued any other way.

Magma really make me tap my foot harder than any jazz man has ever tapped his foot in a jazz club.

When I listen to Magma at work it's very hard not to start singing in Kobaian.

I don't know what my office mate would think if I did.

Because jazz clubs are very laid back. Wink

You're not allowed to move much. LOL

Long haired poseur types aren't allowed in.  You have to wear tweed and a cravat.

I personaly don't know any gay men who love Queen (although from what I gather, Queen is not as popular in North America as in Europe.). All the gay men I know actually love Coldplay and Radiohead...

I guess it could be fangirlism. Just never heard the expression used.

Let it be known that I'm a complete fangirl of Nick Cave and Brian May then...Embarrassed, and that won't stop despite my impeccable Wink tastes for blues and prog-folk, and budding taste for RPI.

The end is the most harrowing, haunting thing I have ever heard.  I'm welling up.  Gosh.  I shut my eyes when that part started.  Shivers were going up my back more than just once.

Now M.D.K. has started and feel a bit more at ease.

I think I may swap the track round next time... although it may leave me too depressed... hmmm.
