"We're coming to the beginning of a new era...... wherein the development of the inner-self is the most important thing....... We have to train ourselves so that we can improvise on anything: .....a bird, ......a sock, .....a fuming beaker. This, too, can be music. .....Anything can be music."

Don't try to fall asleep to that.  There's a scary part in the middle.

The only time a book's scared me is that part in 1984 where Julia and Winston get caught. You know, "We are the dead..." "YOU ARE THE DEAD", and then they take them away. that scared the sh*t out of me.

that album is great. So is Amoeba music.... I was too young when I was there to truly understand the treasure I've landed on

Ori, what is this Rabbit thing you're talking about?

it's this subscription based monthly thing by Sleepytime Gorilla Museum's Carla Kihlstedt and Matthias Bossi (who are also married). It features music, and short films, and other cool thinks, for a dollar a month and stuff.

Does this exist?
I've heard of them working on it, never seen a release myself

They've finished it but they've run out of money for post-production and distribution and stuff. I'm literally throwing up liquid anxiety just waiting for it. They're supposed to open a Kickstarter campaign to get the funds. But they haven't been doing it and I want to choke a bison already out of frustration.

I have one real great record store, and then a bunch of good ones, and then a few that are just terrible. Overall I'd say it's pretty good. But for my obscure RIO stuff I still usually need to buy online.
