Appreciated.
Save your best stuff for yourself.

We have enough musicians and time to figure it out.
As Ben said, though we need to move not like there is a deadline here

yeah, I guess like Rob if I record something I don't see myself using I might toss it your way... or, if you really need, I could dub in some guitar solos once you've got some tracks that need them

Exactly.
And so I dont repeat, you see my post in the SR about equipment...
We'll figure this out.

I think us Shredder's have functioning brains LOL

Pekka is as well.

And actually one of my good friends has a set as well. So there's always that.
In fact his is really nice, far superior to the one currently in my garage.

eh, size doesn't matter.  For HTcF he uses basically what you have.  Puts some dimes on the crash for sizzle, and some tape on the toms for muffle

Rob's piece is really good Smile Gave me the recording vibes once again, but right now I'm unable to do anything due to someone in the household having flu and no metal resistant ears. I listened to the piece I have and it needs some work in the structure and riffs. But the beginning's ok. I'm tempted to add some drums to make it clearer, but perhaps the fun lies in presenting a weird guitar track and let you figure out the changes.

One of these days I'll stop talking and show it to you Embarrassed

And my so called equipment consists of Audacity and this mic: http://www.thomann.de/fi/the_tbone_sc440_usb.htm The drums come straight from the drum brain to the computer through a stereo plug, so the sound is very good.

I'll have a lot of free time this weekend so I'll try to record something when my roommate is away.

The recording equipment isn't a big deal.
Better is, better but low-fi is fine!

Some days I want to die,
Others my mood is good,
Some days I've felt so lost,
And I know I never should,

Some days I can see your face,
Others my mind is blown,
Some days I have joyful feelings,
But they don't seem to be my own,

Some days I connect so well,
Others I'm a cloud in a clear sky,
Some days I say hello,
Maybe it's time to say goodbye....

^Those are some good, albeit more traditional lyrics.  I already see a concept for a song.

So, I was reading Truthy's latest lyrics over cloudkicker.
I was able to match it pretty well!
Though in my head they were screaming vocals.

Edit: Works kind of well with Pelican.
Combo of whispering/low growl/screaming vocals.

If only I could do vocals!
