I ban Vompatti because I like that track but it sure ain't the heaviest thing I've ever heard

I ban Vompatti and say that in my youth the only metal was heavy metal so I'll give it to Sabbath for the intro/riff of Black Sabbath and the outro of Under The Sun. These days it's all very different but I'll probably go for Voivod on the Outer Limits. All personal taste of course

I ban Vompatti as I agree with him on not excactly knowing what a heavy guitar sound really means. I relate "heavy" with "fat", which would makes the heaviest guitar sound a really thick one... but that's just my theory.
