Minimalistic dark ambient with an appropriately cold, icy aesthetic. Halfways between a bleaker Stars of the Lid and what Lustmord would sound like if they weren't evil. (if that wasn't a contradiction in terms)

Before it was:
Invisible - Durazno Sangrando
Argentinian prog rock from the early 70s with Luis Alberto Spinetta (RIP) doing this wonderfully unique guitar work. He also happens to be one of my favourite singers, often reminding me slightly of Franco Battiato. Something about that frailty.

Now:
My favourite metal album of the 90s.....well maybe, it's certainly close.
This one is like being wrapped in this slow and extremely HEAVY carpet of guitars. Thick like clay and monstrous.

Currently listening to a very obscure, underground band from England. They go by the name of "Pink Floyd."

Didn't find out Cyclobe were a spinoff from Coil until now. It makes sense, though, as their music captures this perfect sense of cosmic grandeur and yet something profoundly existentially disturbing at the same time.
