The Sky Moves Sideways has many flaws. I, for one, HATE that goddamn digital-sounding f**king stupid crappy SW guitar tone on this solo in Phase 1.

You're not aware of people saying "best" to mean "my favourite"? 
 
But it's also their best, it's the greatest blend of everything the band has ever done: pop, alt, space-rock and metal all in one album.
While Lightbulb Sun does have some great songs like the title track, Russia on Ice, Shesmovedon, and Last Chance, their metal and space-rock pinnacle is found on other albums. Any album with Harrison (excluding Deadwing) contains better metal material and The Sky Moves Sideways or maybe Recordings, rivals Russia on Ice for space-rock.
