Joel downloaded it fine and re-upped it on Megupload and still I cannot download it.  I can pause and resume via Getright but it still keeps stopping.

I uploaded a 101 Mb file earlier and re-downloaded it as a test and worked fine.

So this is why I'm thinking if it can get re-zipped or something, it could solve the issue.  Although the other file on the same site also stops at 6% on both Filefront and Megafire.

Sure, I'll try it on 4shared this time.

If they were cutting off his downloads, he probably wouldn't be able to download any at all.
And he said he goes on a pay per download basis, so I don't think there would be a cut-off.

The last two are the best But it is indeed very good overall.

I knew I should have driven farther to get beer.  Tongue

Also, if you haven't seen this already, it's got a few clips of live performances from the album.

Thanks.

From the small interview at the beginning, it's an interesting problem for this (progarchives) database - Driver forms an ensemble to perform specific pieces of music, so technically we should generate a new artist entry (Tartar Lamb II).  One wonders if it might be easier to put all these ensembles just under Toby Driver's artist page, but we can probably get away with doing it under one Tartar Lamb entry and explaining it in the bio or whatever.

I was thinking about that earlier this morning. I guess in theory their should be a seperate entry for Tartar Lamb II (given that it's a different line-up) although it also seems odd to list both seperately. I guess that if Tartar Lamb II was to be added as a seperate artist entry it'd have to be evaluated by a genre team as well (probably the ZART since that's where Tartar Lamb is). Putting it all under the Tartar Lamb entry and then modifying the bio to list both would work well.

I say put them together.  Bands have lineup changes and even changes in sounds, but that's not a new band.  If they do Tartar Lamb III, then IV, then V, etc, with lineup changes, would these all have separate entries here?

We certainly don't want to go down that road, that would get very silly.  The only difference from your point being that the band itself is calling itself something else - so say post-Drama Yes decided to call themselves Cinema, we would probably end up having a separate artist entry, right?  But here it's really more Toby Driver composing and just getting different musicians to perform those compositions - it's effectively his solo output which he calls Tartar Lamb.  Much like you call your solo work "Epignosis".

He said something about 3G which might mean it's a mobile internet thing. Those suck, I have one too and it's the worst thing ever.

They're good in a pinch - I've sometimes tethered my laptop to my Android phone to get at least some connectivity.  But yeah, overall the speed is painful.

Also, I take back and criticism I may have had of the Cardiacs earlier.  I only listened through disc 1 of Sing to God, and though not all of it was particularly grabbing, the stuff that did was pretty f*cking good.  I hope this whole album grows on me.

Overrated means "lots of people like it, but my opinion is better than theirs"
