He's a Swedish-speaking Finn but he'll deny it.
No, I deny it because I don't speak Swedish.

Isn't Swedish mandatory in Finn schools? AFAIK there is also a lot of official / state paperwork in Finland is exclusevely in Swedish.Confused
Yes, but we're allowed to forget it after school. What paperwork? Huh? I don't read any official paperwork anyway. Sleepy

Swans are pretty good.  I like this album, it's got a little bit of everything in it.  Good for studying.

Finland was Sweden for a long time so that doesn't surprise me.

And yes, Norway is quite close. My hopes of visiting Sweden are a bit more unrealistic, at least for the time being.

I'm listening to the Great Annihilator, like you suggested.  I'm surprised at how pleasant the mellow parts are.

I've been there many times. Tornio. Great place to buy booze back when you weren't 20 and you couldn't buy it in Sweden (except in bars and such) and you used to live close to the border Big smile.

Also, Swans makes for good study music because every song is really just some evolution of a single riff, and when it's over, it changes songs.  Doesn't require too much intense listening.

MSc, Biology, Ecology and Conservation Biology (course: Evolutionary Processes). But right now I'd rather be doing something else. Like being free.
