Stone of Years (Morning Star- 1d10+1 with 30% chance of causing opponent to lose a turn)
Blunt            (30% chance user loses next attack)

Hmm...do those 30% values stack?

OK. This is getting a tad confusing.

I'm probably not clear on that...the original 30% means that the person USING a blunt weapon runs a risk of losing a turn (it's a bad thing to using a blunt weapon, off-setting its great damage all around)...the Stone of Years incurs the same penalty, BUT, whenever you hit someone with it, they run a 30% chance of losing their turn as well.

Hope that makes sense.

It's sorted out now, Snowwy.

I just bought Amygdala from the pool.  I now own two warriors.

Matt needs to buy one now, then I can challenge him.

I got it.  Smile

In an older version of this game (when it was done on AIM, we used to auction the slaves off- highest bidder got him).

Ah, alright.  Makes it a bit clearer.  It would be just a tad unbalanced if they stacked and the opponent had a 60% chance of losing their turn, wouldn't it? LOL

Wish I could but I presently have no money and I can't earn any either as no one will challenge me.

So about those special weapons... if Jon wants to be annoying and keep all those weapons, he can?  I note that some special items may appear in the shop.  So I shall keep my eyes peeled.

And Rob, are you rolling these characters or are you just randomising the stats?  I did wonder how some got those minus figures.

You're a bit advanced for me, Jampa.  I know I have two characters but the other one isn't kitted out yet... hmm.

There is a chance of winning... but a slim one.

Fine, I am going to be stupid and accept.

Bring it on!

I accept the challenge with Talybont, with leather armour, a shield and my short sword.

Nope, halberd is a pole arm, which has the penalty of you not being allowed to use shields.

Man, I really want to get a D& D group together again after playing this.  LOL
