Actually it's circa "Thick as a Brick". During the "Too Oldd.." times, Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond (the guy in the multicoloured suit) was no longer in the band.

Indeed.  A bass-player of his quality probably yearned for an artistic prog outlet after years of playing pop music with (post-Season's End) Marillion.  Mind you, I've not heard Marbles yet, so there's hope.

Judging by the way Transatlantic usually organised their stage set-up, Portnoy will most likely be on the the right, out of picture.
