This is another track with a shortcut... the one with the train on, you can go through this tunnel or something.
Once I learnt about it, I took it all the time.

Yep, he went into Tony Williams' Lifetime after that I believe. I haven't heard any yet though.

Yes, the Kalamari Desert or whatever. If you were star, you could avoid getting hit by that train and move pretty quickly along those train tracks without it taking too long. All you do is go through the tunnel, time it correctly, and it's a big help!

Ah yes, you could jump off the edge of the Rainbow road and land back down on the track below... indeed, it was hard.

I always remembered it by jumping off of the second yellow square from the start line (I think it was that anyway). You had to aim it well too.

Yep but Stars never came up enough for me... I always got Lightning Bolts. I also loved the Blue Shells which hit the first place player. That pissed them off! But I always played as Yoshi... I know he's slow but I was a terrible driver so I need control. Princess was the quickest but I couldn't control her.

Oooh, someone else who liked FF9!
I have that on PS upstairs... I really must try and play it again. I got as far as getting the Moogle Suit or whatever it was. So hardly got anywhere.
I didn't like FF7 as much as FFVI though. I didn't feel guns had a place in Final Fantasy. Plus the load times were terrible.

Yoshi was actually a medium character (on the lighter side), whereas Wario, Bowser, and Donkey Kong were the heaviest (Bowser the heaviest in the game). I was always Bowser. Oh, and BLUE SHELLS PISS ME OFF SO MUCH BECAUSE I ALWAYS GET HIT WITH THEM ALL THE FREAKING TIME

Sorry Alex, but Kefka is the best villian ever. EVER. He successfully managed to take over the world, destroy it, rebuild it and essentially tyrannically rule as a god over the course of the game. He even killed an entire race of magical beings (espers). If anyone is evil, it's kefka. KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE!!!

VII and VIII were a cool spin, a "futuristic-past" if you will. VII was my gateway into FF, but IX is my favorite 3D FF. IX was just.... just great . The battle between Alexander and Bahamut is awe-inspiring.
