All great albums.  I can never decide if I like The Snow Goose or Moonmadnes more (it's sad we can only discuss Camel in the wee hours of the morning when no one else is here to harass us. LOL).

I know. I like them more than Yes. I can only ponder what ills our fellow PA members shall plan for me, now.

Also, I've been listening to your album. Were your vocals/music in any way influenced by Camel?

Is that a polite way of saying the vocals are the weakest aspect of the album?  LOLWink

Influenced?  Perhaps on a subconscious level, but I wouldn't say that.  I just try to make music that is the most memorable, and for me, bands like Yes, Kansas, Camel, etc. are the most memorable.  Kind of interesting that you make that connection...

I hope you're enjoying the music though.  It took almost four years to put all that together. Embarrassed

To be honest, yes, I'd say the vocals are the weakest aspect of your album, to me, but I still liked your album more than most Rush albums I've listened to. I don't know what that means to you. I am also pretty sure that the first sentence has at least one grammatical error. Damn commas. I can tell you worked hard on the music. It is fleshed out and melodic in a way I find pleasing. Hell, I might write up a review for it, if I get the chance.

I am working on an album of my own, but was rejected from a prog label because I am apparently "new age-classical". My main goal is to become a "psychedelic symphonic space folk" project. I love messing around with genre wording.

I am first and foremost a musician, not a vocalist, but I've received criticism and praise in equal measure regarding my singing, so that's good enough for me to keep doing it.  Smile  Hell, you can't please everybody anyway, am I right? LOL

And psychedelic-symphonic-space-folk sounds like it'd be really cool. Thumbs Up

Yeah, I plan on having a lot of violin and keyboard interplay.

I hope you enjoy it, Raff. I am off for the night/morning.

Plato down. That's at least 60% of the exam challenge out of the way.

History Of Music tomorrow and I'll be freeeeeee!

Thursday Organ exam doesn't count, it's nothing serious, and I'll pass it without problems.

Very strange piano exam today, my teacher said I played too soft and rushed some tempos along Schumann's Carnaval, while I felt in my best mood ever. I know there's a great difference between what a piano player hears sitting right next to the instrument, and what sound he needs to generate for the audience (and that can be tricky: I have had cases when the instrument and the sound was crappy to my ears, but formed decently in the hall), but I didn't imagined anyway that some parts would be awkward.

Meh, c'est la vie, room for improvement nonetheless...

Oh no, I'm very much awake, and sitting here writing a review (not for PAWink), while doing some housework in between. I'm definitely a morning person, while in the evening I start feeling sleepy very early (generally after dinner). Getting ready for tonight's gigSmile!

I don't know what kind of a person I am anymore. Wake up early in the morning, and takes me just 45 minutes to get ready for school or stuff, then hold on through the day until supper, very active during the evening, and then stay up late, reducing my sleep to merely 6-5 hours.

I'd say I'm more inactive at morning, though, especially on free days, when I don't start doing anything until 11am.

Sometimes, not sleeping enough makes me go back to sleep, after having breakfast, for another hour or so (when I can afford it, that is).

I am one of those people who must have at the very least seven hours of sleep in order to feel well - six is usually not enough, though I can survive on that amount. As you may have noticed, I am also an early sleeper - going to bed at 11 p.m. is usually VERY late for me.
