My flatmate has a bottle of Rum in his room I could raid. But that would be a cardinal sin. I prefer my Rum double, with a dash of Coke, no ice.

I work in a pub over summer and Rum and Coke is probably our biggest selling mix.

Ya I'd rather just store the rum in the freezer than add ice

It'll be winter soon, time waits for no man. It's winter here, but it's not that cold.

Oh no! A dead shred is being buried beneath a thick layer of JFF topics. Shocked

IT ALL SINGS BEAUTIFULLY;
WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH I BELIEVE THIS
BUT I KNOW YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND
WHY I THREW MYSELF FROM THE GLASS AGAIN!

I'll check it out after I finished Choirs.

ALso, I downloaded a bootleg of Kayo Dot "Live in Eugene at Samurai Duck, 2006". I wonder why __On Limpid Form gets so much negative attention. Shocked

Yeah, that's a great recording.

___ On Limpid Form is great, but pretty minimalistic. I can get why people wouldn't like/would hate it. Amaranth the Peddler is similarly drifty and dark.

The Antique at 8:30 kicks big, big asses.

I like the back of the booklet of Choirs Of The Eye, where the structure of The Antique is described. Though I don't get why that's titled The Man-Tique

Listening to The Manifold Curiosity as loud as possible could be the greatest thing ever.

The chuggy riff at 8:33 in The Antique is amazing. I really like the booklet; the Coyote digipak is amazing as well.

Have you heard the Kayo Dot track Don't Touch Dead Animals (from  the Bloody Panda EP split)?

Yeah, I really like the Coyote packaging as well. And I haven't heard Don't Touch Dead Animals, but I have listened to Kitty Song yesterday! LOL

Kitty Song is great
Even though it's a joke I still like the clarinet part.

Also, check this out, awesome b-side from BLD:

DTDA is really good; dark stuff. Mia does lead vox

You can stream it for free (and buy the MP3 if you wish to do so) here:

Hopefully fantastic

They're getting Jason Byron to do the lyrics for it, he did Choirs Of The Eye's lyrics and some of motW's lyrics on Bath and LYBM. Should be good!
