Nobody cares. ;)

Only your mom will when she meets me there.

I also paid for it with your credit card. Just warning you now.
Definitely a finance major.

You'd be the guy to not only take the credit card, but rack on additional charges and try to convince the credit card company that it's all "goodwill". Tongue

Don't forget convincing the IRS that it is 100% business related and therefore tax deductible.

Yeah it's from Futurama.

Oi!

The original was from the Simpsons and is "I for one welcome our new insect overlords".

Which I of course swapped on the velvet pads and coily cable.

Well, and my 5$ Sony earbuds.

never tried those but AKG mostly gets it right, i have 2 and love them both, one more than the other

and detachabke cable is aplus

I'm already on vacations, in the south of France, with my family.
Too bad that most of my friends are out of the region at this time, but one of them invited me: there's a probability that I may eat Albanian recipes on wednesday...

I tried a lot of other headphones and the only things I found that were better for both sound quality and comfort were the AKG K702

and the Sennheiser HD800

Both considerably more expensive.

Although, I'm listening to the Falling Into Infinity Demos, so suicide may occur. It's like Cleaning Out The Closet all over again Dead

Although some of these songs are quite nice. But some are just terribly poppy.

I've heard a few of these song on YouTube.  I'd be curious to hear these demo albums one day.  I've liked a lot of their live cover songs that I have seen/heard on YouTube.  Especially, the Rush covers.  Go figure.

never tried the HD800, too expensive!! and would require an equally expensive headphone amp.

I go with t he AKG K601 mostly, or grados for desktop.

Ive read the k701 is more bassy than the k601? wich would make sense because the k601 is very very light

LOL It's kind of uncanny to listen to the Majesty Demos. They sound almost exactly like rush.

Sony studio monitors, best $100 I ever spent.  Work wonderfully.

Except for when someone broke the headphone plug and I had to do a super ghetto fix, and now one of the contacts is loose at the base and I need to fiddle with it to get all the sound channels through.  I can fix this later but I don't feel like it.

It might be more bassy (I haven't tried the k601), but it's also very light so if it is, that's not the reason.  It's like clouds on your head.  I chose the K271 mkii partially because it blocks a lot of outside sound

Friend of mine has those, they are pretty nice.

Yeah, I napped from 1:40 until 11:30.  Not that unusual, I do something similar every night.

That's not napping, that's going to sleep.

Tell me, then, what do you do when you take a nap?  Non-stop jumping jacks?  I usually sleep.

Oh har har har. I think the maximum time for a nap is 4 hours, but even if you disagree on that, sleeping for nearly 10 hours is sleeping for the night. You should not call it a nap.

Nope, it's from the Simpsons, Kent Brockman says "I for one welcome our new insect overlords" when aliens invade Springfield. I guess they used it again as an injoke in Futurama.
