Well aren't you lucky.  Some of us find it impossible to find work.

No, I'm assuming I won't possibly see her until Wednesday since she's probably just getting back into town today.  I'll be locked away in a computer lab tomorrow working on my astro research paper, so I won't see anyone.  Wednesday though...what sucks is that I'll be gone the next two weekends. Cry

Well shucks!

She may have to pop in the library.

I'd try and be quick about finding her though, they don't stay single for long.

I know, hence my eagerness to see her on Wednesday and establish some sort of line of communication/plans to get together.

Plus, the computer lab I'm in requires specific ID card access, so she wouldn't be able to get in if she wanted to.  Tongue  It's specifically for students who are in astrophysics classes and need certain software.

Yeah but I don't interact with them.

Then make some effort to do so.

This.  I do that sometimes, and look at the potentially good results of that!

Yeah I should.

It's really hard to type with gloves on.

Sorry to be an arse, David.  It's just there's a chance there maybe a double-dip recession in the US and UK, you shouldn't be so sure about being guaranteed work.

Remove them, then.  Put the heating on, if you're cold.

It's understandable. Quite honestly, I think it's more a case of when it's going to happen, not if. Makes me feel bad about all the people who have lost their jobs already, especially the ones over here who are about to run out of their "99 weeks" benefits.

Although while I'm only a measly cashier/bagger at my job, Kroger is really good about hiring internally, and they know I'll be looking for a Finanace/Management type of job after school. Several of my managers have already asked me if I'd want to be trained/moved into corporate after I graduate. And I still have 3 more semester so hopefully things will be improved some by 2011/2012.

You forgot to knock.

Hey Rob, have you tried learning the solo in "Oblivion"?

Maybe.

I don't even know the track or who it's by.

Nope.  I don't try to learn much.  Learning pieces of music no longer interests me (with a few exceptions).

Oh, then I have heard it, as I have heard Crack the Skye (if it's on that album).  I just don't remember it.

You assume correctly.

I'm asking because it's the first major solo I'm attempting to learn, and since Rob liked the album and is a better guitarist than me, maybe he might've learned it and could give some pointers on improving my soloing.
