This thread will be closed soon anyway, then you can try to get the next one. Tongue

I would take the next one, but I'm too big of a n00b. I don't deserve it.

I think the quickest we've gone through any Shred Room is 5 or 6 days. Can't remember which it is.

The subject is independently annoying and I have complained about it before. But when I'm already angry because of $150 Calculus textbooks and the games the bookstores play it gets out of hand.

That's why I tend to order all my textbooks either online or at the used bookstore that's just off campus. I also sell my books back that way and get about half my money back as opposed to getting $10 for every $200 book I return to the campus bookstore.

Yeah, I have to buy books for college very soon.

I know from my brother's experience that they can be huge dickheads.

I hate buying textbooks, so I often don't buy the expensive ones. I make do with other means.

Well yes, but that's more difficult when you're trying to order them 10 days before class starts. And they're f**king with me on Chemistry, the manadatory "package" and the lab manual have ISBNS that do not exist anywhere on the internet according to Google, although the textbook that's in the package has a real ISBN. What's in the package that makes it cost more and be mandatory? I don't know, I guess I'm going to have to drive back out there tommorrow to find out since they CLOSE AT 3PM ON FRIDAYS YOU LAZY JERKS. And the Calculus book is actually more expensive on Amazon!

I'm in a rut like you Henry... I have class in 12 days and haven't even looked at which ones I need to buy yet, though I know they'll be priced through the Goddam roof! Confused Guys, I'm f**ked, to put it bluntly.

I have not looked into my books at all. I start on the 23rd. Plus side, 100% music classes, and I got a $2,000 drum line scholarship (which I may not need) huzzzzzah. I have transfer student orientation tomorrow (f**k) immediately followed by 8 hours of work (whatthef**k).

There's still plenty of time to buy them from Amazon, especially since Amazon is giving away a year of Prime membership for people with .edu email addresses.

I'm buying my mom Mondo Cane for her birthday, she loves Italy so we'll see how it goes...

It's not exactly a movie designed to appeal to teenagers.

I have a major in which most of the books are available in any library.
Last quarter I spent all of $40 on books.
