The second part is always ftl.

The late delivery has happen often to me. Sometimes I can't even order from Amazon or ebay, or have to choose different paths, because of country issue.

Hmmm.....The first song opens with jazzy drumming before adding all kinds of weird stuff with cello...and I would guess the lyrics are in Swedish (not 100% sure because the lyrics for this song aren't included in the booklet).

Well, I checked the CD itself, and it was still in mint condition, as well as the booklet, so otherwise I don't care too much.

Diablo Swing Orchestra. Sorta metal-ish but really avant-garde and jazzy as well (I think I've even heard swing music at some point). Although more the zany kind of avant-garde than the violent type I would hear in unExpect.

One of my Amazon US vendor orders has incurred import tax.  I'm not happy.  It's never happened with Amazon before.  They usually have problems with postage or anything like that.

Grrr.

Wow. It seems they're releasing their second album next month too. LOL

The cover looks kind of creepy though.

Well, I guess this is a metal album, except it's so eclectic that it's not predominantly any one genre.

I guess "avant-garde metal" or "avant-garde" works best.

You always insist on the album.

"Jean Louis.

I hope it's released in 2009, this Jean Louis, because it's the album of the year.

Jean Louis, album of the year!

It would be a shame, not to mark Jean Louis as album of the year.

I think Pat, Luke and David would also like Jean Louis to be 2009.

Jean Louis, please be 2009.

Jean Louis surely recorded Jean Louis in 2008, and released it one year later, that's why it says on the back cover of Jean Louis 2008.

Luke, are you sure it says that Jean Louis is recorded in 2008?

It can't be. It just can't be. I'm sure Jean Louis isn't 2008. Jean Louis is 2009 for sure, I'm sure.

And then Jean Louis will be album of the year.

Mmmmmmm Jean Louis."

Now didgeridoo and oriental percussion.

I think they're just trying too hard to be unique now. Tongue

For me it's a 2009 album even if it was released last year. Wink

Although in the official P.A. poll, I'll have to choose something else.

As Rico said earlier, it's not just for poll purposes, it's good to get accuracy for their album entry once they are added.

Maybe ZART can make an honorable mention or something?  LOL  The whole team is enamored with the album.  Tongue
