I'm no lady and I'd rather not talk about Magma, can I come in anyway?

Sure.  Bear in mind though I've just put a Magma concert on and I maybe talking about it a lot.

So how's you, June?

Hi June.

Also, I don't like talking about Magma much either.

I'm good, thanks, how are you?

Actually, I'd be curious to hear Magma live.

I'm sure I'll eventually start liking them or something... and I'll become like the rest of youse. I'll even make a special effort tonight now (despite what I just said): I'll put on some Magma. After having listened to Tarkus last night, I'm sure I'll enjoy them.

Hi Matt, what's up?

Not much, I'm going through KC right now, it's been too long since I've heard them.

Actually, we've mostly been discussing King Crimson today.

But this Opéra de Reims concert is amazing so far and has some of my favourite compositions on it too!  I can't wait to hear Theusz Hamtaahk.

And I hate to say it but De Futura with Paganotti playing bass is better. LOL

Matt, sort it out... Magma is always fun to talk about.

It's only fun when you have a lot of Magma.

All I got is MDK (yes I'm too lazy to type the actual title)

So that's what I put on now. 10 minutes in and I'm already annoyed. Why does is sounds like a musical?

It doesn't sound anything like a musical.

I hate musicals.  I wouldn't listen to Magma if they sounded like they played music that sounds like it should be a musical.

I can see why it may remind you of an opera, but a musical?Confused  Also, those first ten minutes are some of my favorite ten minutes in music EVER.

Yes, an Opera is more like it.  Vander was influenced by Stravinsky and Orff.

Actually, it sounds like Leonard Bernstein meets Offenbach to me... All right, maybe Bernstein meets Orff.
