It seems I can only successfully download files (especially those from Rapidshare/Sendspace/Megaupload &c.) when I upload something (it doesn't matter which service I upload something with either).

Any ideas why it's doing this?  I've tried changing my wireless to a different port without any luck.

So you have to upload something to Rapidshare before you can download it?

No.

A download will start (and I'm not talking primarily from a site such as Rapidshare, it can be any site with a download on) and it downloads a small amount and then halts.  I can pause it and unpause it and it'll download a bit more but it's slow.  However, if I upload to a site such as Rapidshare whilst downloading, the file I'm downloading downloads without a problem.

The thing is though, it doesn't happen with everything.  I could probably download from Steam all right and also update games that have an in-game patching system but not using Firefox or IE (those two I've tried).

I nearly agree there, although I think The Incident was pretty good; when I think about it, its probably the best disc they've released since In Absentia.

I nearly agree there, although I think the second disk of The Incident was pretty good; when I think about it, its probably the best disc they've released since In Absentia.

Fixed.

I'd say try using this: http://www.speedtest.net/ whilst you're downloading, uploading and whilst you're doing both.

I did some checks like that yesterday but only when download/uploading at the same time.  I wasn't losing any packets but the VOiP was non-existent...

Shred Room needs a ventrilo or teamspeak server.

Wow, that sounded nerdy.

No, this connection is terribly slow. LOL  This is on wireless by the way.  I can only get 54 Mbps. on this.  The router allows up to 108 Mpbs. or something.

Yes.
Make this happen.

Also, Mass Effect 2 on PC looks
amazing.

Too bad I can't afford a new computer.
Well, even if I could afford it, I'd buy something better like a DSLR.
