So I gathered.

I barely play any more and I'm useless at playing.  I was bought a new harp for Christmas and I've barely picked it up.

Pick it up, buy some effect pedals, blast the volume and have serious fun.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

I have yet to decide whether I buy a tin flute or a harmonica with my xmas money...

I don't even play through a mic, I just play... how does one play a harp through effects pedals?

Besides, I can play lots of avant-prog noises through it without effects pedals.

Well you play through a mic and then plug the mic into the effect pedals.

Yeah, you can easily do avant noises with a plain harp but you can sound totally out there with some random effects.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Oh, I suppose an Irish tin flute is pretty much the same as a recorder, no?

I'm actually trying to figure out which one will bother my neighbours less (and do I care anyway since I'm probably moving away this summer?)

I play both flute and harmonica. I think flute is just a little bit more awesome.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

I barely ever use effects when playing guitar, most of the weird noises I make with it, is stuff I learnt to do without effects. I basically only use reverb ,  delay and a wah wah pedal occasionally, but otherwise I'm not really into using effects.

My mother has one and she cannot play it.  So it sounds horrid.

I really like to use effects. I can't get enough of 'em. Well, when I play alone, I rarely ever use effects but jamming with my bands, I always do.

I add textures in the background.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

I just feel effects are a cop out for people who cannot play very well.

Well, I'll probably sound horrid for a while when (or if) I get it

Harry, C flat minor triad would be C flat, E double flat, and G flat, right?

I am almost free of this work that I have dragged out an embarassingly long amount of time! But this powerpoint is taking much longer than I expected. :(

Yes, that would be correct, but I had to think of it in terms of B Aeolian to actually get what you were saying at firstLOL
Yeah, I know nobody would write it like that, but it was the only example of a double flat that I could think of.

I am putting far more effort into this powerpoint than is necessary, I think, but if I'm going to take forever to hand something in, I might as well do it right!

When was this supposed to be done originally?:spock:
I'd rather not say. >_>

I know that's why I reverb the hell out of everything I play.
