I don't know what music they play but there's a local band here called: Annotations of an Autopsy

Addendum: they're Death metal

Kind of makes sense.

Cool name though... sort of.

Actually, I heard the opening act was "Dandelions in the Smoking Ruins of Stalingrad". I saw Phil Collins backstage earlier putting on his cavity costume.

Mike, listen to HP and chill.

I only joke about Rush 'cause they're easy pickings.  Just as Dream Theater are easy pickings.

I don't get all avant-garde music either, if that helps?

But I don't just appreciate avant-garde music.  I like blues, jazz and JamBands, as well as singer/songwriters such as Bob Dylan and Neil Young.

I just don't really like Retrogressive prog.

Meh. It's not 70s-era Phil Collins anymore so it wasn't too big of a loss.Wink

Totally unrelated topic... I heard John Cleese (69) is dating some 27 years old girl called Barbie.

Go John?

BTW, that band that you kept saying was a 'worse version of Agalloch', Esoteric, didn't even sound anything like Agalloch.
You could have at least compared the band to something similar to it.
I was expecting a black metal/post metal type band, and what I got was entirely different you knobLOL

No.

Haxan (the other band I saw) sounded like a worse version of Agalloch.

Esoteric didn't sound like them.

Heyya!

Oh I'm fine now - I don't know why i felt the need to go off on that tangent, it wasn't even provoked . Anyways, I know you're joking around because it's like you said, "it's like friends in a pissy offy kind of way" . I think I just feel the need to get out of this apartment but I can't because I'm flat broke so I have nothing better to do but to rant on internet forums.

how depressing

Anyways, after that rant I went and mini-gunned a whole bunch of people in GTA, so there's not an agressive bone left in me right now . Like Henry said, we already also went over this in my thread that I made back in July, so I'm being very redundant and somewhat contradictory.

Anyways, nothing against the avant crowd and if it weren't for certain members rampaging around the forum I would never have checked out Magma (not expecting to like them, mind you) or SGM and so on and so on.

In short: Ying Yang Sorry Embarrassed
