It sounds like you've got an impressive organ there, Jim!

Funnily enough, we were playing "Something" and I mentioned the version from the George Harrison tribute concert where McCartney starts off playing his ukelele.

What are you doing on Sunday Chris?

#
This Sunday I'm rehearsing with the Cambrige Ukulele society aka The Cuckoos.

Here Comes The Sun works nicely on the uke - on the original the guitar was capoed at the 5th fret so the fingering is identical. I've heard other people do good versions of Something and While My Guitar Gently Weeps on the uke, and George played the uke on a lot of Brainwashed. Paul strums a nice version of I Will on the uke in The Beatles Anthology DVD when they're discussing the White Album.

Keep on breathing the fresh air! I quit 7 years and 5 months ago and I don't feel the odd urge anymore. The first days are the hardest to get through.

Many thanks Neil - no blaming us this time

We're not saying we'll never smoke again, as that will put the kybosh on our efforts; we're just taking it day by day...
