Metallica - Kill 'Em All To St. Anger - World's Greatest Albums (DVD, 2006) According to Amazon UK, the soundtrack features highlights from: 1. One 2. Seek & Destroy 3. Ride The lightning 4. For Whom The Bell Tolls 5. Fade To Black 6. Master Of Puppets 7. Whiplash 8. Enter Sandman 9. Wasting My Hate 10. Fuel 11. Nothing Else Matters It's essentially just a documentary DVD though. Music Magpie and Amazon UK both give the release date as 20/02/2006, and IMBD gives it as 12th August 2006 for the USA. We currently have it as a 2005 release, and RYM agrees with that. The ones for sale on eBay show a mixture of 2005 and 2006 for the date of the DVD.

Yes, that looks fine to me. ![]()
I'm pretty sure what the author intended to write there was "the making of "Nothing from Nothing". It would almost certainly have been another video documenting the band in the process of recording and creating the CD. There are loads of these kind of videos posted by various bands on YouTube these days, but back in 2007 when the Internet wasn't in so many homes they used to include them on multimedia CDs so that they could be played on a computer. I just copied and pasted the actual text from the old myspace in my post, but I'd be tempted to change it on our own page, since, as you say, those exact words that were written on the old myspace don't really make any sense. NAP: Thanks, changed to Making Of "Nothing from Nothing".

All duplications really - the same single issued in different countries with a different cover. See: https://www.discogs.com/Paladin-Sweet-Sweet-Music/master/584030 and 1. Sweet Sweet Music (2:50) (Side A) 2. Get One Together (2:35) (Side B) Total Time 5:25 - Lou Stonebridge / vocals, electric piano, harmonica - Derek Foley / lead & slide guitars, vocals - Peter Solley / organ, grand piano, violin - Peter Beckett / bass, vocals - Keith Webb / drums, percussion Vinyl, 7", 45 RPM, Single Phonographic Copyright (p) Bronze Records Ltd. Manufactured by Island Records Ltd. Distributed by Island Records Ltd. Published by Sidney Bron Music Co. Ltd. Marketed by PolyGram in New Zealand. The UK/Germany and Spanish covers we have are rather poor images. If it is decided to keep all three entries then better covers for those two can be found here and here. Unfortunately we have no UK cover (if it had a cover), so I used German, but I'm not sure it's a good move. I guess if the band is from UK the "main" version would be British. Maybe use image from this page? Similar problem takes place with another single in your next post. Will ask admins to delete the rest. Keeping all 3 versions would look like a riot.

Duplicated here as a French release with a different cover: It seems there are seven versions in total: https://www.discogs.com/master/view/550400, though RYM only lists four: https://rateyourmusic.com/release/single/paladin/anyway-giving-all-my-love/. We have the single as a 1972 release, but both RYM and Discogs say 1971, though all the uploads I looked at of the A side track "Anyway' on YouTube say 1972. The two songs were apparently included on the US and Canadian releases of the band's self-titled debut album in 1971 (but not anywhere else): https://www.discogs.com/Paladin-Paladin/release/3950103. Discogs say there were 20 issues of that debut album in total: https://www.discogs.com/master/view/249941. ![]() 1. Anyway (4:16) (Side A) 2. Giving All My Love (2:30) (Side B) - Lou Stonebridge / vocals, electric piano, harmonica - Derek Foley / lead & slide guitars, vocals - Peter Solley / organ, grand piano, violin - Peter Beckett / bass, vocals - Keith Webb / drums, percussion Vinyl, 7", 45 RPM, Single Published by Sidney Bron Music Co. Ltd. Distributed by Island Records Ltd. Manufactured by Island Records Ltd. We don't currently have any track times for the 1971 self-titled debut album: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=6331. They are (from https://www.discogs.com/master/view/249941): 1. Bad Times (6:44) 2. Carry Me Home (3:19) 3. Dance Of The Cobra (7:37) 4. Third World (3:51) 5. Fill Up Your Heart (5:32) 6. Flying High (4:57) 7. The Fakir (4:36) Total Time 36:36 There is also a typo in track three of the 1972 album 'Charge': http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=6332: 3. Get On Together (2:35) should be Get One Together, as we have seen in the previous post where it was released as the B side of a single. RYM also have the track listed as 'Get On Together', but everywhere else I looked has it as 'Get One Together'. NAP: Thanks, all done, also updated this one.

Hi my friends,
So I made a little search in the database for the keyword "bandcamp" or "digital" and I found lots of variation on this theme... Yes, it could well have been released without a pretty sleeve in the UK being as it is just a 7" single. Using the image of the disc itself might look a little odd though alongside the other covers/sleeves we have on the page (and indeed on the whole site). Maybe just leave the German sleeve image on the page as it is now so that it fits in alongside the other images, but add in a note that the sleeve shown is from the German release? Edit: It seems pretty certain that the UK release of the two Paladin singles was done in a plain white paper sleeve similar to this: ![]() Edited by yam yam - February 04 2021 at 20:45 |

In my opinion all might be replaced with "Digital album". Probably makes sense to keep self-released albums, then the replacement would be "Digital album Self-released ". With a white space after Self-released, because in some cases the year follows after them, for example: "Self-released on bandcamp (2018)". Julien I'm curious to hear your ideas.

So, carrying on down the list we have: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=31562.
Full title is "Parallel Realities Live... by Jack DeJohnette, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock & Dave Holland" 1. Shadow Dance (15:30) 2. Indigo Dreamscapes (7:03) 3. 9 Over Reggae (7:35) 4. Solar (13:09) 5. Silver Hollow (8:25) 6. The Good Life (6:08) 7. Blue (7:02) 8. Eye Of The Hurricane (15:30) 9. The Bat (8:25) 10. Cantaloupe Island (9:42) Total time: 98:32 Dave Holland / bass Jack DeJohnette / drums Pat Metheny / guitar Herbie Hancock / keyboards Recorded live at the Mellon Jazz Festival, June 23, 1990, Philadelphia, PA. 2 x CD, Jazz Door, JD 1251/52, Germany, 1993. 2 x CD, Kang & Music, KACD 0203, South Korea, 2002. (Apparently Jazz Door was a notorious bootleg label from Germany, issuing music without any compensation to the artists). ![]() We have it down as a 1990 release, and RYM agrees that the Jazz Door release was in 1990, but discogs say 1993 for the original Jazz Door release, with a repress by them also listed (date unknown, but presumably later than 1993). The concert was certainly in 1990, but yet again we have confusion regarding the earliest date of the release of the recording to the public. I found one for sale on eBay from Germany, with a photo of the back of the case, where you can definitely see ℗&© 1993 by ITM-MEDIA (which is also quoted on the discogs page for the 1993 Jazz Door release), so my vote goes to 1993. ![]() Also available as DVD-V, PAL, Arthaus Musik, 100 184, Germany, 2001. (See http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=30068, which needs the above track times adding in. I have listed the musicians above exactly as they are credited on the CD liner itself, and on discogs too, but musicbrainz gives Dave Holland's instrument as double bass on all tracks except '9 Over Reggae', where it is given as bass, so maybe you want to add double bass onto his line in the credits too, since it seems to have been his main instrument at this concert, and is the one he is seen playing on the cover photo of the CD? Edit: Seven releases are shown altogether on discogs, with the album also being released in 1992 as an unauthorized bootleg album called 'Flower Hour' by Pat Metheny. NAP: Thanks, done (with minor changes). We can't mention unauthorized bootlegs on album pages, because admins will take us to the gallows pole. ![]() Updated DVD as well.

Well, Eugene... it appears that I'm so tired these days... that I have forgotten about my "ideas" ![]() I think your plan to convert all these variations to "Digital album" is the best. I will work on this carefully, manually to ensure that I don't create confusion. I will post an update when I'm finished.

I used the name 'Jack DeJohnette Special Edition', as written on the cover. I prefer releases' info this way (original year releases, then, after paragraph break, reissues), in our case it looks as follows: CD Blue Note - CDP 7 96690 2 (1991, USA, also released by Blue Note in Canada, UK & Europe) CD Somethin' Else - TOCJ-5539 (1991, Japan, Promo) CD Blue Note - TOCJ-8035 (1998, Japan) CD Somethin' Else - TOCJ-95008 (2013, Japan, remastered, SHM-CD) Edited by NotAProghead - February 05 2021 at 21:27 |

^ I use PA's "domestic" utility for calculating totals, it sums up individual track times.
You know, 2 different CD players may show slightly different (2-5 sec) playing times, I guess that's why total on the cover is a bit higher.
