The best "advert music nobody knows who it's by":

It's used a lot in adverts in the UK.  I don't think many people realise who it's by.

Such an underrated band.  Mmm.

Vaccination would be the perfect way to wipe away a fair percentage of the population.

Obviously they would mix the vaccine with the right kind of poison.

I did Big smile

Also, I have a question. In Norway, how would the name "Mathias" be pronounced? I've been saying with a hard "t", like mat-tias, but I think I might be wrong.

I think it's a semi-hard T and a silent h.

So something like Mat-ee-as or Mat-y-as.

I also could be wrong.

it is Mate-ias (joking) LOL but seriously it is more like Ma-tias, like maaaaaa-tias you can drag the first syllable as long as you can but the second syllable must be short/snappy

Takk :)

I've been listening to Mathias Eick almost every day and I recommend him if you are interested in really sensual and icy sounding jazz trumpet. He plays with Jaga Jazzist.

Pretty much what I said then. Big smile

It's the same for Maciej in Polish.  A long Ma.

But it's pronounced more like Matchick in that case, of course.

å det er ingen årsak, bare hyggelig å være til hjelp ;)

well i like icy trumpet, almost as much as i like icy oboe, and if played in a new-agy way it can make wonders or ambient silent trumpet coverd with layers of synth and strings oooooohm, gives me goose bumps

like most of Avalon by Roxy Music gives me, it is the most purple/blue albums i have heard with shreds of green

Odd and Even is two norwegian names that i think is funny when aplied to english, hell even Wiki finds it funny

Odd, a name of Old Norse origin (Oddr), the 11th most common male name in Norway. It is rarely used in other countries, though sometimes appearing in other Nordic countries. In old Norse the word means sharp end of an arrow or edge of blade.

Oddur is an Icelandic and Faroese form of the name.

As a curiosity, note that also Ev

Even is a Norwegian form of the name Eivind, coming from Norse Eivindr (and which exists as Eivindur in Iceland) which has its origin in Old Norse words (auja-, -winduR) often interpreted as words for "gift" and "winner". It is a somewhat common name in Norway, but is very rare in other countries.

As a curiosity, note that also Odd is a common male name in Norway.

en is a common male name in Norway.
