The Holocaust Thread proved that we shouldn't make threads about events of that nature.

Kinda surprised actually no one made a thread, I was thinking of it but honestly...I'm too afraid people will ruin it with either jokes (and w/e smart ass or snarky comments they have) or get into politics.

what's the difference between a cow and 9/11? You don't milk a cow for ten years, hahaha

Yeah, even without that....enough time on PA especially recently is enough to show I shouldn't do it.  Everyone here either needs to be "alternative" an a****le or is probably secretly happy it happened. Yeah. Well maybe that's much but I'm sure plenty here don't really feel too upset about it.
OR they will go straight into politics and we know exactly who'd be the ones to start the sh*t.

Its just reflective for me. I was 13 years old, I dont really remember much before hand but everything after. Like that event was the "start" of my life.

whatever, this is the Shred no one really cares LOL

I remember some parts of it vaguely, like the pictures in TV, and everyone being sad

All I remember is that it was something I watched on TV, it didn't really affect me or anyone I knew.

My dad used to travel a lot, so my mom was very concerned, also because we live near a major city

Neither of my parents travel and I definitely don't live anywhere near a major city, the only thing I have to worry about is the power plant melting down.

What does the Gospel of Mark have in it that isn't said better in Matthew or John? They could easily have left that one out. Thumbs Down

I remember nobody of my generation caring at all, but we were happy that school was dismissed for the remainder of the day. I also remember doing some BMX and listening to Queens of the Stone Age. I feel guilty that I don't remember any of the bad elements of the day, though.

Eh Im just being emo, like I said...it's been more of a reflective day like "sh*t 10 years have passed, that have seen me go from middle school to college grad" and weird knowing my "big boy" life started with that event.
Also on TV was difficult enough but seeing the giant smoke plume, then hole where they used to be, from your town hurt a bit more.

In other news, watching football, having a beer and really really not wanting to go to work tomm. I like kinda hate my job but not in a usual work sucks way Cry
