This.

There's very little humour post-Python I like from Britain.

I do like some stuff though, like:

Jam (a Chris Morris series that I normally advertise here once a year)
The Mighty Boosh
Peep Show
The Fast Show

Probably some others I cannot think of right now.

I definitely need that to be translated. LOL  But do I want it to be translated or am I better off not knowing what you just said.

I actually have an annoyingly normal, mostly accent-free accent.

I do get a chuckle out of the Foster's Beer commercials where they have various sayings and then the catchline is that Foster's is Australian for Beer.  Some of those are pretty funny.

I think that as a general rule I do like the sound of a British accent.  I do think that it is more the colloquialisms that I have a hard time with, and it isn't that I have a problem with them, I just don't understand what they mean.  If that makes any sense.

I've not actually ever had a Foster's as far as I can recall, but I do get a chuckle out of the commercials.

The only accents that I truly cannot stand are Brooklyn and New Jersey accents. Nails on a chalkboard.

The only endearing feature about the recent television advertisements for Foster's is the appearance of Holly Valance.

Mmm.

Bonza.
