I do and have, myself, been pointing out the falsehood of the media's delegate count here for awhile.  I enjoy Mr. Wead's appearances on tv quite a bit and actually just came here to post one in which he explains the delegate count.

This clip is from from Maddow so people might want to skip the first few minutes, as she rambles:

Yeah it's amazing how ignorant most people are of the actual process, including those in the media.

It's hard to tell who in the media are actually ignorant and who are behind the spread of ignorance (I mean, other than fox).  What is clear is that there is a ongoing effort in some media circles to push Frothy into the nomination.

Well with Romney getting elected, you get 4 more years of Obama. It's perfect.

Much the same way we wound up with four more years of Bush.

I didn't mean to say it was good. I meant for us to laugh at.

I like Justin Amash of Michigan, as well

Anyway, with the amount of questionable behaviour we've already seen in this process I'm comfortable saying that Obamney didn't actually win Maine.  Wonder if all the votes will ever be reported on this one, though, since the party got the headline they wanted.  The media certainly won't question such a razor thin margin that only factors in 84%, either.

Thanks MoM I'm gonna check him out.  Would be nice to find some future leaders that could appeal to Liberts as their numbers continue to grow.

I also quite liked Fred Thompson  and Mike Huckabee (though I am not in line with all their views, obviously).

We have a couple candidates here in PA that can hopefully pull off upsets in the Repugnantcan primary.  Mark Feinberg is a former Rand Paul and Jim Demint staffer that is running against big-gov union-whore Tim Murphy, in the 18th congressional district, and of the candidates running to oppose Senator Casey is non-interventionist, anti-fed, pro-gold Marc Scaringi.  Off course (and this is a perfect example of how corrupt the party is) Gov Tom Corbett ordered the gop state committee to vote to endorse Steve Welch whose only political experience is fundraising for Obama and Joe Sestak and really just sees this as a chance to buy himself a Senate seat.

I got to talk to Evan Feinberg earlier, albeit very briefly, at a republican petition signing event (had to check it out and drag my registered republican family members to sign petitions) and I now see it as critical that he be sent to DC.  He was hanging out around the Paul signers and touting his past work for Rand.  Asked him about NDAA (decried it and pointed out his opponents support of it) then I told him I'd ask him who he supported in the Presidential but he probably has to be a "team player" right now.  A bit to my surprise he very frankly told me with a smile that, "I think you know who I support" and then he proceeded to continue meeting and greeting.  I could have a Ron-Paulican congressman in my district!  Man, I guess I have to get back into the game.

It was also interesting to see some of the people I used to work with in my dark old political days (my younger days I ignorantly went with the "two"-party flow) and, you know, they didn't seem all that receptive.  Wonder if it's because of my frequent political facebook posts? LOL

Looking at the original post question I am now pondering when the GOP race will be over.  Are we actually going to have a convention that matters rather than just a showcase as is usually the case these days?

^Well after all these results one thing must be certain for the GOP: Romney will be trashed and wiped the floor with by his democratic black twin so it all comes down to this for them: do we let this one go and try it again in 2016, or do we nominate somebody else?
