Too early to challenge a champion so early in my career... ah well.

Every fight except my first was a champion. I'm not even going to consider Amarok though, he's a bit beyond me yet.

A quick question, Rob. How do you work out how much the slave is worth once he's advanced?

Boldly approaching his third challenge, the deadly yet paradoxically merciful Myriad makes his way to the center of the arena. Meurglys III comes out, War Hammer in one hand, glass of gin in the other. He downs the rest of his refreshment and tosses the empty glass into the crowd. They cheer. Myriad, unimpressed by so obviously a drunken foe, takes his first swing. His halberd implants itself into the champion's rotund gut, right through the armor, but the inebriated fighter gives a hearty laugh and removes Myriad's weapon. As both of them hold on to it, Myriad stunned, the White Hammer smashes into Myriad's ribs and he goes flying into the air. Still reveling, Meurglys III hurls the halberd at his opponent and hits him with it, adding insult to injury. While his opponent is still down, the champion rushes forward with an unexplainable sudden wrath and speed, bringing his bulky hammer onto the back of Myriad's skull. Myriad makes a weak but connecting counterattack, but it buys him some time, and he's able to strike three times more. Taking advantage of his stunning the champion, Myriad goes in for another strike, and this time inflicts genuine pain. As an immediate response, one Myriad was unprepared for, Meurglys III butts the hammer into his stomach, making him lose his breath. As the standing man attempts to pounce again, Myriad swipes his halberd blindly into the air, forcing his foe back and drawing more blood along with it. Yet it's all over as his enemy recovers first, and crushes Myriad's head in between the ground and the White Hammer.
Victor - Meurglys III Loser - Myriad (Death)

| Both of your Constitutions were basically neck and neck the entire time, and he got a 20 at the last roll. Dropped you to -6.
