I tried playing Shub-Niggurath on stereo once, it didn't last too long.

Amazing album is Les morts vont vite.  It starts off a bit slow but boy when the guitar kicks in does it suddenly bash you around the ears.

The guitar is amazing, but I prefer the bass. The vocals are also awesome. Still need to get Grands vents

I'm going to be controversial here.

Barbaro (Ma Non Troppo) is the best album Present have released.  Yes, even better than their first two.

Secondly: Clivages is Univers Zéro's second best album.  Yes, ahead of the debut and Ceux du Dehors

There, said it.

Sorry, Hérésie and the debut stand up there with the untachable albums. They can't be beaten.
I'll have to listen to Clivages and Barboro soon, though.
Ah well, I ordered Ahvak ($15) and Les rumeurs de la ville ($4), I'll pick something else next time...

No.  The first two are excellent. Big smile

Just Barbaro is better.

The middle phase is a bit meh... until A Hard Quest.  And A Great Inhumane Adventure is a solid live album.

You misread me.

Hérésie is better than Clivages.  I was saying Clivages was better than the rest.  But the debut and Ceux du Dehors are also excellent.  So is Uzed for that matter.

I still haven't heard Ceux du dehors. The debut and Hérésie are 5 stars. Uzed is 4.

I shall listen to Clivages again after this album. I might agree with James on this.
