Excellent band, I love that album.
How about Madder Mortem, All Flesh is Grass, Deadlands and Desiderata are all excellent albums.

Just to name some Swedes here:
Paatos self-titled should be a household name by now:

So should Landberk:

And Dungen for that matter:

Outside of Scandinavia:
Mexico's finest Cabezas de Cera
Mother Russia's Vespero

Hey 'guldbamsen' i wouldn't call any of those bands obscure. This thread was meant to be for bands who are familiar to very few people and maybe the band itself
. bands who are not reviewed.

Ok my bad.
Although I haven't seen any mentions of these bands beside my own.
Anywho - obscure? I give you The Ghoulies(Listed here under Canterbury), Ultralyd and Plat du Jour.

Here's another from Sweden, obscure enough that it's not in PA. Was a topic on it once in 2005 in a General Music Discussions asking if others liked it and no one responded, so I think that counts. Splash (1974)VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO

Nobody mentioned them because they are not obscure.
