I liked the ideas in the Broderick Godzilla but it just wasn't that great a movie, but I do dig the fast, lizard-like monster in that version--  I'm a fan of the original movie series but the Heisei era of films are also very good [late 80s to early 90s], as Godzilla vs. Destroyer

I VOTED KING KONG BECAUSE OF HIS RAGE FACTOR. OOPS SORRY FOR CAPS! actually i really believe the the outcome would be depending on the envviroment. if its an open enviroment godzilla would win because of his radioactive breathing attack but if it were in a city ir mountain ect, donkey kong oops i mean king kong would win because of his agility and rage. they both are awsome though!

Actually, this is more about your monster preference.  King Kong is 50 feet tall and possesses no powers while Godzilla is right around 300 feet tall with atomic breath.  There really is no contest in a fight unless you want to claim the Japanese version is the King Kong, which I doubt anyone wants to do (much like actual Godzilla fans will refuse to acknowledge an American version was ever made).

I'm talking more about the look of the creature in the film rather than the movie itself. 

Anyway, Legendary Pictures are supposed to be making a 'real' Godzilla movie aimed at Americans in the next couple of years with more participation from the Japanese writers. We'll see what they come up with, I guess.
