I read the "You can Vote Multiple!" too late!  Anyways, I picked Powerslave because it has some EXTREMELY progressive moments, and I personally think that Iron Maiden is very progressive on a whole.  Seventh Son of a Seventh Son was a close second.

even though seven is considered the proggiest IM album, it is still probably the worst IM album from the 80's period.

We don't listen to Iron Maiden for their "progressiveness". I rate a song like "can I play with madness" as high as "the prophecy".

The most cult Iron Maiden album is Number of the beast, but 7th son is far from being bad. Even metalheads rate it high. Its follow-up can be considered as the worst Maiden album ever.

Yeah. Seventh Son the worst? Shocked It's one of their best ever.
 
The likely candidates for my award for worst Maiden album ever are probably No Prayer For the Dying or Virtual XI.

I have followed Maiden since 1982...saw them for the first time that summer. I have to pick Powerslave due the strength and nature of the title track and Rime of the Ancient Mariner.

Excellent...up the irons!!

Rime of the Ancient Mariner is their proggiest song though!

Yeah, exactly! Both are among their proggiest.
