I think I'll vote for "other", since I usually am apathetic and indifferent, at least to some extent.

I don't know that we have to follow some tendencies when we are progheads... |
I've never said it were a requirement; read the question again. It's a poll, to relatively know which mood do the average proghead follow. It's also just an idea coming around in my head... perhaps a common like among a group of people means a mood tendence to follow (that was initially my idea). P.S.: This thread has resurfaced!

I say "other" because I have mellowed over the years (unless I'm driving ) but I'm still a moody old bugger, just not very extreme. I'd say laid-back and chill with the odd burst of mild anger at the world and everything in it.

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out, because my impression of progheads is that we're, for the most part, depressed and frustrated with the rest of the world. Prove me wrong? |

Denial.
I put euphoric because the music I listen to is usually euphoric. Admittedly though, I don't feel euphoric nearly as much as I should, more of a content apathy. There should be a choice for that, picture contentedly apathetic music. Caravan maybe?

I like Uber-depressing music. I run the gambit in terms of taste and i like a wide variety of stuff including some very happy music but my favorites always tend to be very melancholic. Godspeed you! is the perfect example of how i like to feel. i almost enjoy being depressed almost as much as i enjoy being happy. especially when im by myself i get to get all thoughtful and deep and angry. its kinda a cool feeling. . . . . do i need medication?

Adjust my 'endless optimism' to 'endless optimism with a sense of humour'. Canterbury is one of my favorite genres.

I'm quite sure it's a mix between depressing, euphoric, romantic and neurotic.
