And Yes, Minister (thanks Tony)...

and I like two great comedies with Penelope Keith: To The Manor Born and Executive Stress

What about The Good Life?(which here in America is called Good Neighbours for some reason)

Which one is that, the one where Penelope plays a grandmother?

No - there are two neighbouring couples. One is posh (Penelope Keith is the posh wife). The other couple decide to drop out of society and try to fend for themselves (pigs in the garden etc.).

I was absolutely over the moon to see that on Channel 4's top 20 US & UK sitcoms of all time, which was shown last night, the No1 show was....FRASIER!!!
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Very little has made me laugh as hard as Fawlty Towers, but Phoenix Nights comes very close. "I'm getting the word.....Nonce !"

"Why say it cannot be done.....they'd be better doing pop songs?"

I love Fawlty Towers. It doesn't matter how many times I have seen all the episodes, they still crack me up over and over. I love Basil

Is anyone familiar with "Bottom"? (Rik Mayall & Adrian Edmonson) Very funny stuff indeed!
