I'm glad. If there was anything on it worse that the hit single it would be very
disappointing.

Also, they have a song called 2113 and they say they aren't influenced by
and never listened to Rush? Strange.

They only said they don't desire to be like Ruish. They could still listen to Rush and be influenced by them without retaining their sound.

Also, while 2113 is clearly taken from 2112, it actually has meaning in the story.

woo +1 for coheed, its all tied up now.

Edit: i think coheed might be trying to bring prog back to life again. Using
the fast punkish-popish singles to get people to buy their cd which is filled
with that listeners first steps towards prog. I think coheed is a prog band,
they are just the new era of prog bands, like how prog metal was the new
era these new times iwll bring about new bands like the mars volta, coheed,
and more.

I love their latest album, and I wouldn't mind seeing them in the archives (I voted yes), but I think to really establish themselves as a prog band, they have to make a really awesome follow-up.

They should be included because they are prog, and they call themselves prog

Why? Because they tour with sh*t Power-Pop and Post-hardcore bands doesn't mean they aren't Prog?

I mean, DT do tour with Elton John once in a while

Don't get me started

Reason for inclusion number 18: Considering that we include bands that don't even call themselves "prog," and band that admits to being prog and having prog influences should be included

C'mon guys, let's get 'em in there.  What is the process for submitting them for inclusion?  Has this already been done?  And who adjudicates whether they get in or not?  I'd say the 36-32 vote here should be taken into account.

And for crissakes, look at that album title!
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness

If that ain't the proggiest album title in 20 years, then I'm a Brittny Spears fan.
