I like how unhurried it seems in places. Wasn't paying attention to which song I was on (besides Chocolate Chip Trip) but there's one where a simple chugging riff goes on mostly unaccompanied by itself for a minute or two and I'm expecting some fans to expect Maynard to scream partway into it but it's a neat change that he doesn't.

the analysis is solid and neuansed. Tool also seems to have borrowed some Mastodon-like elements, like in some of the riffing.
