i've seen Musical Box do the Lamb.  Pretty good.  I think those concept pieces work well for tribute bands rather than going out and acting like the band.  That yes a bit weird for me.  Like, once i saw this springsteen cover band.  so so weird.
Riverside are the dogs-bollocks......the latest CD is growing on me....

There is not enough bleach in the world to get rid of that visual.

Ah well - It's probably a lot warmer there (Mozambique) then it is here, it's dark and I've just been for an 8K run in the wind & wuthering....just to get a prog theme in there too....

Anyway - Tom, How did you become a Neo-Prog team member? I have never heard you expouse the virtues of IQ/Pallas/Pendragon? Or am I barking up the wrong Tree? Thought you would be more of a symphonic prog team member - or is that team full up?

And another thing - has anybody got Nathan Mahl, Heretik volume I - I got the CD for xmas and the CD was snapped in two - the seller wouldn't re-fund me coz they said I must have damaged the CD. Can anybody send me the tracks from this CD in the highest MP3 bit rate format - then I can check it out - if I like it I'll buy it again....
Cheers.

Naah, I'm a big IQ and Arena fan, Pendragon to a lesser extant.  I really like a lot of the newer Neo acts, Frost* is one of my all time favorite acts despite their relatively small catalog.  While I do enjoy Symph, I really prefer bands that the current technology.  As sacrilegious as this may sound, the Mellotron and Hammond have had their day, I really prefer the modern sound.

Personally, I would recommend The Seventh House, Subterranea, and Dark Matter, and I also thought that their most recent release Frequency was excellent.

Nice one, I for one not too fond of the cockney accent - being chased round the underground by the Head hunters or ICF in the 80's has put me right off it !!!!

Can you help us Yanks out with a translation for Head hunters or ICF?

Glad you are going to see the Genesis tribute band, that line-up doing SEBTP prolly beats most original bands that tour these days.  Nostalgia?  No.  Just great music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
