Hey Alex, your in France.  Have you heard Nemo's Barbares?  Are the lyrics worthy of a top ranking?

Unfortunately I didn't like the music so I never investigated this band. I could look up one of the songs and try to make a resume of the lyrical concept, but I don't know how long would it take. If you'd be interested, what song would you like....... Wait, there are no Nemo lyrics on the internet. Tongue
I was checking their website and they have lyrics for their previous albums (in French) but not the new one.  If you don't like the music and haven't heard them, then please don't worry about it.  I just really enjoy the music, but I was curious to what is being said, since I don't understand any French.  I am always worried that when I am listening to a band that sings in a language that I don't understand that they are singing about supporting mass homicides or worshipping Adolph Hitler or the such, and I'd rather not promote that, if you know what I mean. LOL

Then I'll look over some of their previous songs and post my impressions Smile

I appreciate the offer, but really it isn't necessary.  I'm sure that you've got far better things to do with your time (or at least more important things to do).

I have a lot of sympathy for the heroism with which you endure your Shred sessions. LOL All these avant kids are just merciless bullies sometimes. LOL Outside classic rock and classic prog, I don't know whether we actually have a lot in common. However, I really do think of myself as truly equidistant towards genres of music so that may be the explain your impression. Smile

I hope you don't lump me in with "avant kids", because I like tons of stuff. Wink

You don't even post much in the Shred any more - are you trying to decrease your average post number or something? Tongue

No, I stopped caring about that a long time ago. LOL

Just been busier is all, especially with a girlfriend, hardest semester ever, and composing my own music (and with other small things as well that add up).

The basketball/sneaker loop is awesome enough to warrant listening to the whole album.

That is a really good album; I have trouble picking favorites.
