There's more of us than there are of Y'ALL.  LOL
He probably realized the absurdity of Brit-speak.

Yes but he was Norwegian.  A true Brit would have said Lift. Wink

You see, Robert, in my view of things, I don't rate an album's prog content, but its music. I may be wrong, but I think giving, say, three stars to the likes of Machine Head or Led Zep 4 just because they're not fully prog is misleading for anyone who reads a review. Unless a different rating system is implemented for PP and PR albums, I'm going to use the existing one, and give the same number of stars I would give to a fully prog album.

Actually the star descriptions are different, I think - I only just noticed this yesterday.  I think for a PP/PR album close to 5 stars, underneath the album it will read "A masterpiece of rock music" - note the absence of the word "progressive".

I just checked, and you're right. This is a great thing, a great innovation on M@x's part, which will make it much easier for people to give the correct rating to albums whose musical worth is undisputed.

As a Norwegian, he realized that Brit-speak is absurd.
Don't try to deny it.

No, you are really nuts.

I would say this: How do you know what Jesus looks like?  Have you ever seen him?  No?  Then get the f**k out of here.

You mean he isn't a bearded white dude with long hair?Shocked

Probably.  But that could be the image of John Petrucci for all we know.

Really?  That's good news...

...now what to do with those albums in the database classified as prog but clearly aren't...LOL

No because he used Colour and Tap and other British words.  I've read many of his books.

Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator was first published in the United States by Alfred A. Knopf, Inc. in 1972, and in the UK by George Allen & Unwin in 1973.

That'd explain it.

Plus it's set in America as well.

Pourquoi?

Wink

I realise that's French and not Spanish but it doesn't involve accents.

Beside Patrick, I have a UK keyboard and a button called Alt Gr.  Press that and the letter E and you'll get é.  Simple.

I much prefer Cacho to TQO, at least it's sounds like a name, and with The Quiet One there's more chance that forum people might tell one to "Be Quiet" or "Shut up" (change it to The Quiet One if you ever stop posting here and writing reviews). Had I the name Pablo, Pablum would be appropriate.  Pablo would be a good name-change, however.  I've thought of changing mine to Greg.

Well, still, I was warnedWink
