Not watching the game (hell, it'sprobably over by now) but I am enjoying the streaming Giants play by play that ProgArchives' forums now seem to offer

Beasts with hearts of men!
Great Super Bowl memories
How are you liking the idea of Oregon and Auburn for the BCS Championship? (or do you not watch college ball?)

Didn't miss much Anton, that game was the definition of a mess And I enjoy college football but I'm more a casual fan, just kind of watch it. I of course root for my school. I want a Boise State/TCU game!

There's nothing good about a guy doing something wrong, realizing his error, and changing his entire life?
Oh yeah he went to jail. We should just line him up against a wall and shoot him I guess.

The Lions once again grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory. With a 12 to 7 lead in the 3rd quarter, they gave up a 97-yard punt return and then on the next play fumbled the ball at the their own 20-yard line, which of course led to another Cowboys touchdown. Sadly with the score 21 to 19 Dallas, the officials handed Dallas another touchdown by calling a horse collar tackle penalty when the Lions defender tackled the Cowboys running back by his hair. According to the Head of Officiating the call should not have been made, because tackling a player by his hair is not a penalty. Instead of third and goal from the 12-yard line the Cowboys were given 1st and goal at the 5-yard line and surprise, they scored a touchdown. Oh well, at least the Lions will be feasting on Patriots for Thanksgiving.

I am a bit worried about the Pats being too damn tired after the past two weeks....

I am counting on the "let down" that should follow the big win over the Colts.

Childress is done, no real shock but I thought they would wait until the end of the season.

Poor guy. Hearing the crowd chant for you to be fired during a game is rough. I feel for him.
I thought they would wait until the end of the season also, but just like the Cowboys, when you lose a game that badly it tends to expedite the process.

Damn Giants lost Hakeem Nicks.
So much for them winning a game in the next two weeks.

I never said that why make a big jump like that? Of course if why he went to jail isn't enough to look at his personality then I don't know what else to say and as for changing his entire life that remains to be seen. Once he isn't being monitored and baby sat for his every action that will be the true test. I just said he shouldn't be comeback player because he does not fit the criteria. He could be MVP and I don't dispute that. If he was not an athlete how many other professions would let such an individual return to his profession?

Hopefully most professions. I hated Vick for the longest time, until his imprisonment. Then people started treating him so out of proportion.
Josh Hamilton was clearly the comeback player of the MLB. How is his situation any different?
