Just don't want the Eagles to overlook Denver thinking about the Cowboys game. Need to win the next two.

I don't think Andy Reid is the type to do that. And with B.Dawk and to a lesser extent Buck coming home, I don't think the Eagles will need any help keeping focus.

Hope you're right. Would love to see Minn. bonk at the end here and the Eagles snatch a bye.

"Easing" Westbrook back will be key, I think. Teams might be able to take away Jackson, but it would be nice to have two game breakers for defenses to scheme for in the playoffs. Here's hoping the drama that seemed to be brewing in Minn doesn't fade anytime soon...

The Giants last ever game in Giants Stadium was a bust. 41-9.... Didn't even watch past the 1st quarter, you can just tell what was coming. Just had a feeling, which was the team had none. Panthers aren't THAT good. G-Men had no emotion left. Ah well, for the best really. Let everyone heal and get whipped back into shape. Here's to next year! Also, much to our chagrin, looks like those old guys can crack the champagne again. Indy benched Peyton and the offense went to complete and utter crap. At one point 7 plays with 0 yds and a sad fumble. 14 down with 5 mins.....goodbye 16-0.

Damn the Colts, they aren't supposed to play to lose the game till the playoffs start. If the Bengals are smart they will lay down next week and let the Jets skip into the playoffs because, really, who wouldn't want to play the Jets? I smell a conspiracy in Indy to help the weakest contender out.

^ heh, intriguing but nah....Indy ALWAYS does this. I dont know how I feel....I mean yeah it makes sense to rest those who need it. But the whole taking people out....doesnt sit well with me. I know "why run the risk of them getting injured" yadda yadda. But I do not think I saw one happy face in that Colts stadium. Player, coach, or fan. I'd just go for it. We all know it takes getting hot at the right time and how does THAT game build momentum. Ah well......break out the champagne!

The Seahawks, like a reasonably intelligent family dog, know how to roll over and play dead. Unfortunately, they decide to do the trick every Sunday.

Thank you for the number 2 seed Jay Cutler. We'll be enjoying our bye in Philly.

I don't know that I've ever seen this; that the difference between winning and losing the last regular season game is three playoff seed ranks.

You should be thanking the Vikings secondary as well.

As much as I hate to do this I have to say that San Diego looks like the team going into the playoffs, certainly the only ones going in with any type of championship effort. Man do i hate Phillip River though, little crybaby punk.
be looking for everyone to give there playoff predictions after this sunday

I was thinking the same thing. The swing is ridiculous.

I chose Cutler because he made some absolutely beautiful passes that would chew up any secondary. Two in particular I remember were just indefendable.

As much as I'd love to blame the Vikings "collapse" well, its not even happening Played well, Bears just played better. But hey Minnesota took it to the very end.
Is it something in the Chicago water? Why can they never get a good QB? Either that...or the O-Line, the receivers? What could make Jay Cutler go from a top 5 QB to throwing picks like a mofo?
Ah well. And the Saints go down to the Buccs. Not too worried, their defense is very beat up. Just hope it'll heal up in time for the playoffs. Oh, and with the G-men done I am officially rooting for the Saints, as well as the Bengals for the AFC.

Cutler has always been overrated as a complete QB. He has one helluva arm but he has no mental game. Said it when it happened and I'll say it again: Denver got the better of the trade and it's not even close.

If Cutler could ditch his child mentality and if he could actually start listening to coaches, then he could be a great qb, but that will never happen most likely.
He was always the flawed qb that we're seeing now. I think things are just exacerbated by the lack of a receiving core and solid run game.

I have just about given up on the Ravens. We would have beat the Steelers if we didn't commit stupid penalties, which negated 2 TD's.And Mason dropping a ball in the end zone when he was wide open was something you don't see often.
Harbaugh really needs to crack down. The Ravens are a shoddy, undisciplined football team. Some of the personal fouls commited are inexcusable.I used to play a lot of football and I can understand emotions running high in the heat of battle but these men are supposed to be professionals and need to keep their f**king heads in the game.

I will agree with you and manofmystery....he is DEFF overrated and always have been. But to do THIS bad?? I'm sure the O-line is partially to blame. Not just their blocking for him but the lack of run game as well. Unless Matt Forte just decided to suck.... Although manofmystery...Denver got the BETTER of the deal....but Orton is no winner. They need a real QB in Denver.
