Wolf Eyes tickles most of the right buttons for me. And yes...if your interested in the far reaches of jazz/avant-garde Braxton is an excellent choice to follow.

With an album name like Black Vomit, I'm guessing it's an album of romantic piano ballads, amirite?

Needless to say, you shouldn't play Black Vomit to get women into the mood.

also saw GYBE in Primavera and that was probably the greatest show I ever saw. After they played "Storm" I leaned towards my brother and said "that was probably the greatest thing I've ever seen" and then they played "Moya", so then that became the greatest thing I've ever seen.

I saw them once...and they played some new stuff...including a rather long section with just repeating themselves with very little development and absolutely no build/release. Needless to say I was a little disappointed. But perhaps I built them up too much in my head, having heard their concerts were akin to religious experiences.
